Michael Hercz currently serves as Sentynl Therapeutics, Inc.’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer and oversees the company’s Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Regulatory Affairs & Quality departments. Michael brings more than 22 years of legal, regulatory, compliance and risk management experience to Sentynl. Prior to Sentynl, Michael served as a Managing Director in Deloitte & Touche’s Enterprise Risk Services Group where he advised Fortune 500 Life Sciences management teams on leading industry practices. Previously, Michael was Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Victory Pharmaceuticals where he oversaw the company’s corporate compliance program and served as a member of the executive team. Prior to joining Victory, Michael spent nearly eight years with Amgen Inc. in a series of increasingly senior legal, regulatory, compliance and risk management roles. Prior to joining industry, Michael practiced law at the global law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP and at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman Inc. where he counseled Life Science industry clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues. Michael earned his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the University of Southern California.
